Success Principle

How would one define success? The fact is that there is no precise definition to success as we all have different concepts of what success means; however, I will say this, success equals happiness. Therefore no matter how one measures success the main principle to success is to be happy.

Personal Success

Most people think of success in terms of money, fame and material goods, while they are not bad at all and always helpful to have around, it does not mean one is successful through them. How would one explain otherwise the reasons why a millionaire is unhappy and often considers himself/herself a failure in life?

Even though financial independence is a success in life worth mentioning, it only resumes to financial success, which often requires one to make important sacrifices such as time with the family and sometimes even one's health. In the big picture that may not be after all the principle to success that one may want to teach and pass one to one's children.

Measuring one's personal success should be done through the degree of happiness and health in one's life and definitely not the material and social status. Everything can be ruined in a moment such as property and finances but if you have great health and a loving family you will be able to endure and succeed in any situation. That is success.

Follow Your Own Principle to Success

Happiness is a state of mind and because we all are very different, we all seek happiness differently; therefore the principle to success is different with each one of us, what does stay the same is the fact that, in the end we all want to be happy whether is it by winning a game or by getting your child through school with great grades.

Recognize your principle to success and practice it as often as possible in order to achieve a state of happiness and stay there. After all, that is what success is all about. Believe in yourself even when you don't succeed at first or the next few times; success comes to those who are determined to get achieve it.

Achieving Success

No matter what you think success is, the road to it is never easy or simple and there are no short cuts. Make a plan for success and follow your goals; a great deal of character and self-discipline is required to achieve any success. Positive attitude and the will to succeed will take you a long way.
