Critcism: Standing up to Your Partner's Relations
Mostly people are being criticized by their partner but they don't have the guts to protect themselves from such criticisms although they feel so bad about it. Here are some advices on how you can get back your self confidence.
- Do not forget that as a person you have your own feelings. You can confront your partner and tell him/her that you are insulted with the things they say. By doing this, you partner will be able to realize that that kind of treatment was wrong and they should stop from doing that.
- Mostly people get infuriated by criticisms they get from their partner. This triggers them to fight back and criticize their partners also. Thus resulting in deeper arguments which are unhealthy for both of the partners. The best thing that you can do is to walk out to avoid further disputes.
- Analyze yourself to see if there is really something wrong with you. Be real with yourself. Your partner criticizes you maybe because they want to tell you something but they just don't know the proper approach to do it and they can only tell it in the form of criticism. Maybe the best thing that you should do is to accept the fact that your partner might be correct with what he says.
